In a new home, would you encourage builders to install urinals along with toilets in the master bathroom?
I think Sharon Osborune had a great idea to install a urinal for Ozzy. I think a personal urinals might give a husband a sense of "this is mine" and perhaps lessen the wife's complaining about pee being everywhere except in the toliet. YOUR THOUGHTS...

- YES ,easier to pee in
- An interesting thought. That might be nice. I would prefer though having the builder install the bidet toilets. If you've never had the pleasure of having your tushy washed and blown dry, then you should find one and give it a try!
- Personally I think it would just be another thing to clean. I do not think it would help or hurt resale. If you like the idea do it. There will be no damage done.
- No I do not know if urinals be alright but I would love the bidet. Urinals could smell and will need extra cleaning.
- Have you been in a mens' room? Urinals don't help! LOL!
- In a gay marriage this would be a great idea! Also, the cast of "My Three Sons" would be ideal candidates. However, would you rather have a urinal, or a bigger jacuzzi? Most bathrooms are kinda space-limited.
- I think it would be sweet. Great for one of those middle of the night trips to the bathroom.
- THE EVERYDAY/AVERAGE BUILT HOUSE IT IS NOT COST EFFECTIVE WITH THE LIMITED SPACE AND OTHER DESIRED ITEMS THAT HOME BUYERS ARE LOOKING FOR
- I would say skip the urinal and go for one of those extra-long toilets. I'm not sure what they're called, but they're not the typical round, they're more oval. Before you use it, glue a penny to the bottom so he's got something to aim at, haha.
- I wouldn't encourage builders to put them in every new home, I am a plumber and if/when I build a new home or get around to to doing a renov. on my bathroom I will definitely put one in. The company I work for the home buyer sits down and tells you what they want in their new home and they go from there. You must be talking about spec. build homes that they build for someone to buy. I just can't see a older age couple even being interested in a urinal.
- Great idea--any guy would love to have his own urinal, provided you dont make him clean it. Would certainly cut down on water use, and keep the toilet cleaner, as well as the floor. One in the garage would be great too if he works out there much.
