Is the Firefox master password really necessary on a desktop pc?

Hi. I save passwords on my Firefox profile on my personal computer. I am the sole user of the computer and my user account has a password too. Do I really need to use the security of a master password when I save my passwords on my computer for my Firefox profile?

  1. If your PC has enough protection like a good antivirus,anti-spyware and firewall then there is no need to worry. The saved passwords can be send to remote computers only if the PC is infected by such remote trojans... Keep your protection softwares updated and then such worries should not bother you....
  2. Unless you constantly surf shady sites on the internet without antivirus/firewall such protection is unnecessary. However if by chance a remote trojan got in all your passwords may be compromised. So it does no harm to leave a master password on so why not. A Best answer would be appreciated.
  3. I USE THE MASTER PASSWORD ... ANYTHING TO KEEP THINGS SAFER I WILL USE ... AND ITS NOT A ANNOYING THING TO USE AT ALL ....
