- Not nearly. There are many so-called dominants who justify their practices as 'the Christian order', but that's just excuses. A Christian husband is not sanctioned to make decisions without consulting his wife, nor to call her four-letter words, nor to as much as raise a hand on her. - I don't see the similarity, really, and I think you're way off base in general. In MOST relationships, Christian, BDSM, or whatever, one partner usually emerges as the leader. That doesn't imply a lack of respect or a lack of equality. Conversations and activities that take place behind the closed private doors of one's home are just that....private. Things can and often are much different in private than what we choose to show the world in public. I think you probably need to educate yourself a bit better before spouting off opinions like that.
